Little Legacies

The mission of Little Legacies is to support children of parents impacted by the cycle of incarceration through mentorship and group activities while supporting parents in our Adult Programming. Although the majority of Little Legacies programming occurs during a two hour children’s ministry type program on Monday nights, volunteers also attend children’s school activities, engage in community events with participants, and take time to do one on one mentorship.

Family Legacy Home

For some of our families, the need for safe and affordable housing within a healthy and supportive community is vital to break the cycle of incarceration. Our Family Legacy Home serves one family returning to our community from incarceration for up to 24 months. While living in The Family Legacy Home, they receive multi-generational support, pathways to homeownership, access to Next Chapter programming/Bible Studies, and community resources to overcome barriers and challenges to sustainable living, all in a Gospel-saturated community.

REBUILD

REBUILD, a family ministry, is an extension of Next Chapter Ministries that takes a multi-generational approach by empowering the family in an effort to address crime. REBUILD provides peer support groups both in the Olmsted County ADC, as well at our Next Chapter Main Site, opportunities for Discipleship Home residents to have overnights with their children, onsite relationship coaching, activities focused on rebuilding relationships within the family, and onsite supervised visitations.
